Watlington/Wallingford

Fawley Hill museum and Bob Hatfield

Fawley Hill is the home of Sir William McAlpine and his collection of artefacts from his work over the years. Some years ago, Sir William suggested that an O gauge layout could be built along the balcony, which is some 100 feet long. Hence, Watlington/Wallingford. It has been built by the local O gauge group members, and maintained today largely by Bob Hatfield and his wife.
