With around 20 layouts in total, we shall have four “O” gauge offerings this year.:
Marshside - We are pleased to welcome this large, ‘might have been’ L&Y branch set in the Ribble estuary and running in the LMS period. This is only Marshside's second exhibition and displays finescale, high-quality modelling with a ruling gradient of 1 in 75 which creates an interesting variation in levels. Built and operated by members of the Kendal MRS.
Wick End - A late 1980's Scottish terminus based on Wick. Stock is a mixture of RTR and kit-built items and all locos are fitted with DCC sound. This layout is built and operated by members of MIOG.
Nicola landing - An unusual mix of On2 and On3 narrow gauge trackwork set in Canada. It represents an interchange between a 2' gauge mining line and a 3' gauge line on the banks of Nicola lake. Built and operated by Bob Harper, this will be the layout's first outing in its finished form. Locos are DCC sound equipped.
Prime Cereals - a 1970's standard gauge layout set in Michigan, USA and featuring grain silos over a scale 100' in height. Track is hand-laid and locos are DCC sound equipped. The layout is owned and operated by members of the Wakefield MRS.
We also have a (roughly) O gauge LEGO layout a large-scale GN15 logging layout with working machinery layout to entertain, along with all the attractions of Woodbank Garden Centre including some vintage vehicles. A vintage bus service will be operating from Keighley Railway Station, courtesy of the Keighley Bus Museum.
Entry is £10 adult, £5 child (7-16) and £25 Family (2+2).
